Design of a measuring fixture to monitor the production

We designed and built this measuring fixture according to the quality requirements of the customer. It is used to monitor plastic parts in their production.

The shape of the parts were the biggest challenge, but with some optimisation loops, the design was improved and the influence of the operator was eliminated from the measurement as much as possible to achieve the required tight repeatability requirements.
